Springfield Mill Park – Environmental Improvements

Springfield Mills Park was established in 1998 as part of a major housing development which is located off Arkwright Walk, Morley, Leeds. It consists of woodland, pathways, grassed areas, children’s playground and a pond. The pond has since failed to retain its water level due to a decrease in inflow from the spring.

The project aims to secure the ecological and environmental future of the pond and woodland in the Park and increase access by ensuring an adequate water source, undertaking hedgerow works, improving footpaths and installing information panels.
