Square Lodge Secret Garden, Kirklees - Pathways (7182)

This project will provide wider paths and passing places along the boardwalk to allow the safe re-opening of the very popular Secret Garden and conservation area, as a recreational and educational space for the community to explore. This project will help to make the garden accessible, reducing isolation and encouraging new friendships. It also provides a destination for local walkers and cyclists. It will also encourage new volunteers to help in the garden and across the nature reserve. It also provides a great resource for local schools to access the benefits of nature.
