Squash Court to Community Hall – A New Use For An Old Building

The aim of the project is to adapt an existing disused squash court on the grounds of our community centre to provide a much-needed hall which would become a multi-functional large open meeting room utilised by many different groups with the community including: day centre for the elderly as a meeting/dining room, classroom/covered play area for the Saturday School, rehearsal and performance area for cultural groups such as amateur dramatics, choir, dance group, as well as a social gathering area for events such as meals, parties, dances and weddings
