Squirrels Heath Scout Hall, Hornchurch - Community Hall roof replacement (008250)

The project will install a new roof onto 1st Squirrels Heath Scout Hall in Hornchurch. The Scout hall was constructed in 1929, with the original roof still standing today, having been maintained by members of the Scout group for nearly 100 years. The hall is not just an asset in local Scouting but to the local community as well, providing a meeting place for a nursery, dance school, a church group and a Brownie group. The roof is now in need of replacement and the project aims to ensure that the new roof for the hall is sustainable and as long lasting as the current roof.
