St. Abbs Community Centre

In order to make coastal village of St Abbs a more sustainable community and as part of a range of projects, St Abbs Community Trust intends to redevelop the existing community centre to create a community cafe and hall, and office facilities. The new extension has been designed to complement the original 1887 building.
The planned work includes:
* New extension
* New heating system
* Double-glazing
* PV solar panels
* Full insulation
* Re-slating of roof
* Acoustic sound panels
* Fitting out of kitchen
* Facilities for disabled, inc. access to building, toilets, wide doors, hearing loop
* Landscaping of surrounding area
