St Alban’s Project – Community Room Roof

At the end of a large renovation and addition of community facilities to St Alban’s Church, Swaythling, Southampton, including developing a Community Garden around the Church at the end of last year, the builders discovered that the roof of the new Community Room, which was thought to need only minor repairs, is in fact entirely rotten, and in need of complete replacement. In fact it has started to leak into the Community Room, and its replacement is very urgent. This project is to replace the flat Community Room roof, installed in 1980, with like-for-like asphalt according to our architect’s specification.
