St Alban’s Project – Environmental Phase

At the final phase of the renovation and addition of community facilities to the St Alban’s Church, Swaythling, Southampton, we are planning a Community Garden to improve the landscaping and design of the grounds around the Church, to provide a visually inspiring focus within an area which is currently rather bleak and bland; to enhance the look of this important corner of the Estate; and to provide a public garden of which local people can be proud, and which they can enjoy using. Apart from the large area of open space called ‘Daisy Dip’, there are no other public gardens in this area.
