St Andrew’s Church Roof and Masonry Repairs, St Andrew’s Church, Colchester

This project involves re-tiling of the south side of the nave roof, using like-for-like tiles, re-using tiles where possible, and supplementing with new handmade tiles where needed; new and existing tiles to be fixed with pegs; bituminous roofing felt with ventilator provision to be used; providing firings to up to 50% of the existing rafters; replacing joists where necessary and any other structural repairs to the existing roof structure as needed; timber treatment where necessary to prevent beetle infestation and wet rot; masonry repairs to 6 windows and west and east gables, replacing flint stonework where necessary with like-for-like stone, repointing where necessary.
