St Anne’s Church, Turton – Renovations

After an extensive consultation and involvement of the church goers and community surrounding the church 3 key areas for improvement consisting of repairs have been determined: to the clock mechanism, repairs to 2 x rotting lychgates and repairs to unique but deteriorating stained glass windows

The Church is a landmark building, seen from miles around and enhancing the village. It is also used and cherished by a range of local groups. Specialist surveys have highlighted the current needs for the work. Consultation with over 107 households so far has proven huge support. Young groups also support this work.
