St Bartholomew’s Church, Redmarley D’Abitot – Major Roof Repairs to North Aisle, nave and vestry roof slopes and adjustment of valley gutter between the nave and south aisle.

To ensure the roofs are in an appropriate and safe condition by carrying out the following work:
– removal and relaying north aisle and nave roof slopes, vestry and boiler house roofs
– cut out and replace decayed timbers
– construct new tapered gutters
– repairs to stone work of chimney stack and north aisle east facing gable
– checking standing seams on copper roof
– at abutment of roof and stone walls provide and fix leadwork as to form secret gutters
– provide and fix new gutters to chancel north side, and north aisle east gable
– exterior redecoration to rainwater pipes, cast iron gutters and downpipes
– interior redecoration
– installation of trace heating tapes to central valley gutter
– part replacement of underground storm drainage systems
