St Bartholomew’s Church, Warleggen – Repair & Restoration of Church Tower and Bell Chamber.

The restoration of the tower of the Grade II* listed church which is now listed on Historic England’s Heritage at Risk register. This work involves lifting the lead, the renewal of roof timbers and supporting beams, rebuilding the parapets and the replacement of broken downpipes.The tower will be repointed with lime mortar (all cement pointing will be removed) The bell chamber floor and joists will be partially renewed and a stainless steel ring beam fitted to further support the weight of the bell and frame.
