St Bartholomew’s lower cam re-ordering project

St Bartholomew`s Church Lower Cam is proposing to reorder the interior of the Church building so that it can provide a community facility alongside our worship space.

Our vision is to serve our whole community by providing a high quality space for genuinely inclusive community use. To this end we are planning to provide a facility that is fully accessible with toilet facilities and a well equipped kitchen.

We are hoping to remove all pews and replace with high quality stackable chairs so that we can seat 250 people in comfort but also have the flexibility to provide both exhibition/performance space coupled with a café area This would create the largest single space in Cam and would not only be available to the community but would be actively offered for community use. We are using this as an opportunity to ensure that our buildings fully accessible and we are changing our lighting to make it more environmentally sustainable.
