St Boniface Church, Whipton – PV Panels

This project is to make the church community building as close to carbon-zero as possible, through three major upgrades: PV panels, Air-Source Heat Pumps, and a new underfloor-heating system. The first will feed the second, which will feed the third.
They are asking for funding for the first of these elements, the PV Panels, as they have all permissions secured and a quote for this work, which will take place in Spring, whilst they continue to raise the remaining funds for the other elements.
The gas-boiler has broken and the Church of England will not give us permission to replace it with anything that uses fossil fuels. They have repaired but it is a short-term fix, so they now need to think long-term about a responsible heating solution for the next few decades of the building.
