St. Christopher’s Church, Coventry- Community Hall Refurbishment

St Christopher’s church hall is a multi-functional space separated from the main church by partition doors. As one of only 3 community spaces in the area, it is in considerable demand from community groups. Refurbishing the hall will improve the experience for all hall users. Works to be carried out: Lower the hall ceiling, which is in poor condition and very high, to reduce echo effects and improve heat retention during winter months. Replace fluorescent strip lamps with energy efficient LED lighting. The current lights need changing frequently, are expensive to maintain and difficult to access. Increase storage facilities (enabling users to leave equipment between sessions). Open up access to the kitchen and meeting room from the hall. Replace existing folding doors between the church and hall to provide better sound insulation. Improve wifi.
