St Cuthbert's Church and Community - Acoustics

The new Centre building, completed in January 2005, has various facilities available for community use, including a large main hall. Although the building is well used by the local community, the full use of the hall is curtailed, particularly for meetings, training events, and for musical of dramatic purposes, because the hard surfaces within the hall result in acoustic problems. Specialist advice is that this will be alleviated by the attachment of sound absorbent material to the ceiling
