St Cynbryds Community Group (The Church in Wales)

The project aims to clean up an ancient church yard and purchase and erect new railings which feature fleur-de-llys railheads. The original railings were removed in the 1940s to assist the war effort. The project is part of wider community involvement in the church. Local primary school children have developed a butterfly garden and wildlife and biodiversity areas have also been created. Each week over 10 volunteers help maintain and tidy the church yard, including planting shrubs, plants and trees. £750 was awarded towards the purchase of the railings.
