St David's URC, Wirral - Heating (5762/D)

The existing, remote 1950's oil-fired boiler, with long pipe runs to the radiators is to be replaced by separate, local systems for the Church and for the Hall. The portable electrical heating currently used in the rooms ancillary to the Hall will be replaced by an independent loop from the boiler, together with modern radiators with lockable thermostatic valves, for maximum flexibility as well as improving thermal efficiency and general safety in areas often used with chlildren. The Trust grant will contribute towards the heating.
