St Dennis Skatepark

We wish to improve recreational provision for young people in this isolated village community, by building a facility for use by riders of micro-scooters, BMX bikes and skateboards, all at their own request.
We aim to reduce dangerous riding activities reported by police that occur on industrial spoil tips and main roads in St Dennis.
This facility will improve social relationships between age groups by providing a common focus.
Involving the users in project design will encourage a sense of pride and ownership.
We aim to increase the number of young people taking regular exercise.
