St George's Island Project, Looe

To restore and preserve Smugglers Cottage, Jetty Cottage and Island House on St George's island. The cottages were built in the 18th and 19th Century and are in a state of disrepair. These cottages will form the basis of the Heritage Centre and Wildlife Information Centre. Funding will also be used to create new footpaths for easier access to the public, scrub management and the installation of sustainable energy systems, inlcluding solar and wind power.
