St James Centre, Derby – Energy Efficiency Project (50086/D)

The projects aim is to install new lighting and heating (radiators) to achieve energy savings and reduce CO2 emissions. The centre was built without central heating and the lighting is standard fluorescent strip lights typical of those installed 20 years ago. These are no longer efficient and are expensive to run and upkeep.

The Trust grant will contribute towards the lighting improvements.
