St James Hall, Bridgnorth - Refurbishment (4969/D)

The aim of the project is St James Hall is a timber-clad, single storey building which was built about fifty years ago. A recent survey showed it to be structurally sound, but it is in need of major refurbishment. The building will be much more energy-efficient and will be much more useful to the community. Currently, consisting of one large hall, only one activity can happen at once. The provision of the smaller rooms will enhance the building's usefulness, as will the larger kitchen and the increased storage space.
