St John’s Church Neville’s Cross

St Johns Church is affiliated to the Church of England and provides a place to worship and where appropriate provides facilities for community groups regardless of faith. The church currently host a variety of groups including Superkids a project which is attended by children from Nevilles Cross and St Margarets Primary Schools who meet for after school sessions on Tuesdays. The Scout Hut is also within the grounds of the church and is well used by uniformed and non uniformed groups.
This application is requesting funding to improve and enhance the church grounds. The plans include improved access through the installation of a ramp into the hall area, improved parking facilities, reseeding of grassed areas, weeding and reseeding of borders, removal of broken concrete surrounding the war memorial leveling of the whole area with gravel and flag stones. Existing trees and shrubs will be maintained.
