St Johns Community Development Project Phase 1

The aim is to serve the whole community, with the emphasis on inclusion, by opening up a large underused Church building to provide a high quality, accessible centre with affordable good facilities available all week. This will; 1- provide a high quality flexible and affordable community facility available to groups within the local and wider community, especially those working with the vulnerable or disadvantaged 2- enable groups working with youth , performing arts and mental health needs to widen participation through sustained provision of affordable meeting space. 3- meet some of the existing need for community space locally for groups who cannot afford commercial rates.
