St John’s Community Project, St John’s Methodist Church, Bloxwich

This project is for the replacement of the heating system at St John’s, together with new windows, thus reducing the church’s “Carbon Footprint”. Currently the church and ancillary rooms are heated by separate systems. The church boiler was installed upon completion of the new building in 1966, whilst the ancillary rooms have a much older system. Each is now wearing out and very uneconomical, therefore the project plans to install a new system to improve efficiency. It has been decided to replace and/or secondary glaze the church and centre windows which haven’t yet been done at the same time, in order to make the project as effective and efficient as possible.
