St Johns Pool Bird Reserve has acquired a reputaton since 1989 for attracting a wide variety of bird species throughout the year. Predators have become a major issue to the extent that hardly any ground nesting birds successfuly raise chicks. The aim is to maintain biodiversity and enhance the visitor experience.
