St Lawrence & Highland Court CC, Canterbury – Practise Nets

This project is for the purchase and installation of an all-weather, triple lane practice area. This will replace the current net facilities, which are deteriorating, and very costly to maintain. Funding is requested of the purchase and installation of a three-lane, fenced cricket net. This includes interior screen netting, a rodent protection skirt and a PPC steel cage.
The current nets are not fit for purpose and pose too much of a risk to let our young players practice in them.They are very costly to repair and maintain. New nets will lower the risk of injury, secure club sustainability, introduce more children to sport & allow new groups to use it for practice, reaching out further into the community.
