St Margaret’s Church, Polmadie

The restoration of the existing historic St Margaret’s Church, an unoccupied Category ‘B’ listed building at Risk and a new build extension to create a new community and business centre in Oatlands. The area is the focus of a huge regeneration scheme and the building will become an esssential facility which will actively work towards the social, economic and cultural renewal by creating new jobs and a flexible range of social and commercial uses.
The repair works will be carried out via Glasgow Building Preservation Trust (applicant). In the long term, a Community Trust will be established to run and maintain the facility.
