St Marks the Evangelist Warm Space

New windows to the community cafe area and Lady Chapel area. Overarching aims of the works are to improve the church and communal space environment warms, draft free and safe from vandalism.

The existing wood framed single glazed units are in a poor state of repair and most let water in which is damaging this beautiful, communal building. Installing new powder coated aluminium double glazed units will preserve both the church and communal areas, not to mention reduce the carbon footprint and heat loss from the building.
The church as a warm space serving light lunch over the coming winter months helps combat loneliness experienced by many people in the local community, not to mention assisting the elderly with a safe & warm space to help them with energy costs at home.
