St Mary and St Michaels Church Tower, Great Urswick

The project will involve works to the tower to repair this area and make it safe in preparation for further building works which will create a space for a local heritage exhibition which will be open to the general public and will be a focal point for heritage in Low Furness. The building works will include restoring the ground floor area and reinstating a high level floor to create a bell ringing room as the exhibition area is to be located in the current bell ringing area. Other project costs include provision of the equipment for the exhibition (stands, displays etc) and all associated fees
