St Mary the Virgin Church Centre, Plaistow – Open Our Doors

The project is designed to improve accessibilty of the Church Centre. At present this is hampered by the presence of church furniture, and having to pack away much of the church furniture each week. The project provides a permanent area for community use, an area divided off for a permanent sanctuary for church use, ample storage for church and community use, surfaces suitable for community use, general refurbishment to a high standard to attract community use, creation of a separate room for additional activities out of space released by removal of a large church organ.
The Trust grant will contribute towards the externals including the ramp.
