St Mary the Virgin, Newent – Introduce Double Entrance Doors

To introduce double entrance doors to replace existing ones of historic interest. Project being developed with Gloucester Diocese (DAC), FDDC and HE who are supportive.

The project will offer improved thermal efficiency as only one fo the door sets is opened at any one time.

The Church is currently used with difficulty to promote Musicals where the cast can be some 50 persons of ages and abilities (the local press reported on our last musical ‘Timeless’.

Currently St Marys is hosting a Dementia Workshop in February 2017 with a desired outcome of both Church and Town being a dementia friendly experience.
