St. Mary's Church Hall, Draycott - Community Hall Refurbishment (006173)

The project is to repair and refurbish the Community Hall which is on the same site as St. Mary's Church. The Hall was built as a Victorian Methodist School and it has deteriorated over the years, a full building survey has found the need for a new damp proof course, full timber and floor woodworm treatments, a new fitted kitchen, complete redecoration, new doors and appropriate IT and office equipment. As it stands the building has approximately 7 years of useable life left, and because the local Community make regular use of the Hall the Parochial Church Council - aim to bring the building up to standard for another 100 years of use.
