St Mary’s Church, Raydon – Chancel Arch Repairs

Remove loose and cracked plaster. Replace plaster and decorate. Make good loose flintwork pockets above ceiling incorporating 6mm Spiortie 1m long bars in two courses.

The plaster is coming away from the wall and is potential hazardous. The Chancel Arch is such an obvious feature of all churches and to be disintegrating would make the inside of the church very unattractive. The flintwork above the ceiling is significant to the structure of the roof
