St Mary’s Church Roof Appeal, Wigton

This Georgian church is an architectural gem in the town of Wigton and has a grade 2* listing. The plain red sandstone exterior protects a magnificient galleried interior whose unique decoration John Betjeman described as a ‘triumph of paint; a study in grey and gold and strawberry pink’.
