St. Mary’s Church Thakeham Roof Project

To restore the roof of this Grade 1 Listed church building to enable its facilities to meet the need of the local community more effectively. After consultation with architects from both the Diocese and English Heritage we were advised to proceed with urgent restoration of the church roof. This was to overcome extensive ongoing weather damage which could result in the building becoming unusable. The project will ensure the long term availability of this building as an integral part of community recreational, cultural and spiritual activities.
