St Mary's Church Upgrade

Maintenance and improvements of the historic St. Mary’s Church.

1) Upgrade of heating system in St. Mary’s Church to bring it up to energy efficiency system.
2) Church to be surveyed by Heating Engineers and new air source pump to be fitted as instructed by Heating Consultant.
3) Oil boiler to be surveyed by engineer and if needed be replaced.
4) Control system for heating to be an Ember system which controls all outside and inside lights. The heating control system to be supplied, tested and fitted by main contractor.
5) Heating system, radiators, pipework and plant room to be washed out.
6) All works to be commissioned, tested and handed over to client with a three-year warranty.
7) Some footpaths in the old graveyard needs to be removed and repaired. Handrails to be fitted where needed. All footpaths to be replaced by concrete rubbed up.
8) All walls and gates around the graveyard to be plastered and painted on both sides. Where there are steps in the graveyard they must be left to building control standard.
9) Preparation works for the painting of the parochial house, garage, wall and fence.
10) Signs supplied by client and fitted by main contractor while works are in progress for the Health and Safety of all workers.
11) All tools required must be supplied by main contractor.
12) All waste from works to be taken to River Ridge recycling plant.
