St Marys Oxted Heritage Trust – New Community Hall

We want to build an excellent and much needed facility to provide a venue for a broad range of community organisations in the centre of Oxted. St Marys church hall no longer meets local needs. A review took place in 2001 and the response showed that a venue was needed as a base for diverse community activities encompassing non statutory voluntary groups, adult education and health services.

As a result a new community hall is planned, with large bright hall and smaller room with associated facilities. The building will meet modern environmental standards, using sustainable products and minimising energy consumption.
