St Mary’s Seven Whole Days project

St Mary’s Seven Whole Days project is aiming to turn the church building into a vibrant space at the heart of local community life, by providing a kitchen, toilets and flexible space within it to support a wide range of activities to enrich and serve local people. There is also a significant environmental element (rainwater harvesting), and future potential through St Mary’s location next to the public Wettern Tree Garden, which is full of rare trees and widely enjoyed. The start and end dates below refer to the actual building work required; but the importance of this is what it will make possible beyond it, that is the aim of the project.
