St Mary’s Swillington – Refurbishment

The project involves 4 phases of works to re-order the west end of the church. Phase 1 and 2 are complete and have involved constructing an elevated ringing chamber, providing a toilet, utility room, equipment storage rooms and a new church office. The grant is awarded specifically for phase 3 which involves the creation of a meeting room for use by various clubs and groups. Phase 4 will be undertaken when funding has been secured and will involve the installation of a new boiler. All works are intended to make the church into a community amenity, available for all and not just a place of worship.
