St Matthew’s Church, Little Lever, Bolton – Tower and transept roof repairs

Due to the fact that the entire roof has been placed on the Historic England at risk register, the applicants’ wish to make watertight the tower and the transept roof. The ingress of water is risking damage to the Brindley and Foster organ, causing dampness in the building and making it necessary to re-plaster the transept ceiling.
