St Michael’s Church Hall, Brimington – Refurbishment of window, ceiling & basement

The aim of the project is the refurbishment of the stage area with the removal of an obsolete flight of stairs which block off part of the basement in order to use the whole area to provide storage for organisations using the hall. This area has no insulation and the lighting level is poor. The large arched window there is not double glazed. Presently this area is accessed both sides by a short narrow flight of stairs. It is aimed to install a suspended ceiling to include insulation and new lighting, install double glazing in the arched window and an internal fitted window.
