St Michaels' Church Renovation Stanwix

The Church and its grounds are situated on the site of the Roman Fort of Uxelodunum, within the Hadrians Wall World Heritage Site and Stanwix Conservation Area. The church was built in 1841 of sandstone and slate and is Grade 2 listed. The programme of works includes: Repair tower sandstone masonry Relead and improve access to the tower roof Repair roof gutters Install lightning conductor Repair damage to floor and carpet internally This is the first phase in an ongoing programme of work.
