St Michael’s Parish Hall, Shepton Mallet – Roof Repair

Funding is being sought towards the cost of repairing the roof of the parish hall that adjoins the church . The existing roof is over 17 years old and is beginning to show cracks which will lead to the roof leaking if not dealt with which may lead to us now being able to use the hall.
There are 12 groups who regularly use the Hall and provide a range of activities to local people. These would be severely disrupted should the roof not be repaired. There is a little space to hire in Shepton, and the hall is in a discrete location, which some users, such as AA, prefer.
