St Michael’s Parish Hall, Whitefield – Re- Roofing

It is planned to increase the use of the facility by anyone in the local community. Parts of the building have deteriorated, badly need repair and bringing up to standard (externally it does not look appealing to passers by). Works needed include re-roofing, replacement of the rainwater goods and soffits, the replacement of the internal ceiling and insulation within function room which has water damage and some holes in it, renovation of the exterior of the building to protect the structure. building have had several leaks from the roof that have caused some internal damage over time. The felt on our roof has deteriorated and is not fit for purpose. there is need to create a secure bin store outside on health and safety advice. project belongs to a small group of volunteer parishioners who regularly fundraise throughout the year. All income goes to maintenance of the hall and not unable to raise the funds are needed for such extensive works it is sadly beyond group’s fundraising capability.
