St Nicholas Church Dunnington – Restoration

A quinquennial inspection of the Church was carried out in 2001, following which the Diocesan Architect advised on necessary remedial works. The Village Church serves not only as a place of worship, but is the only public building in this rural village and also serves outlying farms and hamlets. It is used for meetings, events and concerts. This project aims to provide remedial and replacement brickwork, restoration of the church bell, improved heating and flooring, all of which will improve external and internal fabric of the building securing it for the benefit of the local community.
