St Nicholas Church, Piddington – Repairs to Bell Tower

Repairs to the church bell tower and ringing chamber. This to include like for like replacement of roof lead or other material. To lift existing lead off the south gutter to expose rotten timbers and remove and replace oak boards. Spray with insecticide treatment.
If left unrepaired the roof and timbers in the tower would continue to deteriorate. This would ultimately make the tower unsafe and require more extensive and expensive works.
