St Nicholas’ Church Re-ordering, West Tanfield

This project is for an element of the re-ordering of St Nicholas Church, West Tanfield to provide public toilets for the village and visitors; a kitchenette facility; the opening up a communal area to enable the building to be more widely used and a stone entrance ramp to make the building more accessible. This phase is for the provision of public toilets and this will be achieved by converting the existing Victorian vestry into a toilet. The Tower base will subsequently be converted into a new vestry.
