St Nicholas Church Wall Project, Lazonby

St Nicholas’ Church dates back to April 1866 and is prominent red sandstone building in the village centre. The project is to restore a retaining wall that runs alongside the public footpath on the main road through the village. The work has been highlighted by a surveyor and is needed to preserve the status of graves within the yard and protect public safety.
