St Nicholas Parish Church Heating System

The current heating system is approximately 100 years old, inefficient (“less than 30%“), wasteful, costly and close to breaking down.

We aim to provide a modern, efficient heating system acceptable to the many parishioners, groups and visitors who use St Nicholas church building throughout the year and to reduce the environmental impact of the system (to an estimated 90% efficiency).

It will make the building more welcoming, comfortable and available to current users and provide an impetus for increased use for concerts, events, exhibitions, and visitors from schools, historical interest groups and the general public (plus regular services, weddings, funerals, baptisms).
