St Nicolas Church and Community Project Phase Three (a)

The project is the initiative and responsibility of the St Nicolas Parochial Church Council (P.C.C), which has the intention to work with and serve the whole community. It will take place in enhanced facilities, on the existing St Nicolas Church Site, with new community facilities connecting the Administrative Centre to the Church.
The interior of the Church is to be re-ordered over time so as to provide a large space for physical activities. A report we commissioned from WCAVA highlighted the needs of the deprived ward in which the church is located. At this stage we are concentrating on improving the heating to the church and replacing the pews with chairs to provide a flexible space for a range of performances. The work is being undertaken in stages and this is the first.
